In June 2022, Hringekjan proudly received the title of Best Second-Hand Shop in Reykjavík from the Reykjavík Grapevine jury.

For us, this recognition meant so much. Hringekjan was created as a space where people could give their clothes, accessories and hidden wardrobe treasures a second life. Instead of letting beautiful pieces sit unused, sellers can rent a space with us and pass them on to someone new.

The Reykjavík Grapevine panel described Hringekjan as one of the most eco-friendly ways to keep your closet fresh — and we could not agree more. Second-hand shopping is not only about finding something unique. It is also about making more thoughtful choices, reducing waste and supporting a more circular way of living.
