1 OUR SERVICE

Hringekjan rents out retail units for sale of used clothes and accessories to their customers.

Each retail unit is 2m² and consists of clothing rack, shelf and common property. Renters are also provided with a 56L storage container (55x31x33cm) which will be used to restock the retail unit as needed by Hringekjan.

Renters are limited to bringing upto 60 items at a time, each rack holds aproximatly 30 items and each. Renters are welcome to restock their storage container at any given time during the rental period.

Hringekjan handles product transactions on behalf of the renter.

2 RENTAL AND PRICING

Each retail unit is rented on a weekly basis and can be rented for upto four consecutive weeks.

Rental is comprised of a one time upfront fee which is charged upon booking and a percentage of renters sales. The latter is held by Hringekjan at payout and is considered settled.

Upfront fee and percentage in renters sales is detailed in the pricin section of the website of Hringekjan at any given time. Hringekjan reserves rights to change it's pricing without notice. Pricing changes are not aplicable to units in rental at the time of change

3 BOOKING

Bookings are only available through hringekjan.is

4 CANCELLATION

In order to be eligible for a refund, a cancellation request must be made 14 days prior to the start of your rental period.

5 SETUP

Visit us at Þórunnartún 2, at 11:00 the day your rental period begins. Your products must already be registered with a descriptive name under My Pages at hringekjan.is. Upon arrival, we’ll provide you with everything you need to tag and secure your products. You'll then set up your items in your booth, and anything remaining which cannot fit can be stored in the provided container (56L 55x31x33cm) which will be used to restock your booth as needed.

6 Services outside the capital area

This service is only offered to customers of resident zip codes 300 and above.

Only applies for rent for 21 days or longer and the maximum number of products is 70.

Employees take care of hanging up, price and anti-theft tags.

It is necessary to activate offers by email at verslun@hringekjan.is 5 business days before the start of the rental.

Hringekjan reserves a 2-day deadline to prepare products for the installation, so products must have arrived at the Hringekjan 2 days before the start of the lease unless expressly agreed otherwise with the employees of Hringekjan.

We accept deliveries at our store's location, Hringekjan, Þórunnartúni 2, 105, Reykjavík every week day between 11:00 and 18:00.

A picture and a detailed description must be entered with the product. If there is no obvious connection between the product registration and the product, the product will not be sold.

6 PRICE CHANGE

Price changes during your rental period require new barcodes to be printed and re-tagged. You are welcome to come by any time to have labels printed for adjusted items.

7 END OF RENTAL

At the end of your final day of rental, Hringekjan takes down your products and places them in storage. After your rental period terminates, you have until 12:00 the next day to pick up any unsold items. We charge a daily storage fee of 2.000kr if your items are not picked up by this time. Products are stored for a week at most after the rental period terminates. If items are not picked up by then, Hringekjan will see to it that the products be recycled.

8 SALES PAYOUT

When renter has picked up unsold items at end of rental, the renter is checked out and put on payroll for next payment day. Renter will recieve the profits with subtracted turnover related rental for sold items.

Only deposits into Icelandic bank accounts in the name of the renter are available. Deposits are made at end of day every Monday and Thursday. It is the lessee's responsibility to enter their bank details on Hringekjan’s website before the end of the rental period.

9 THEFT

Our premises are under CCTV surveillance and our staff is on alert for theft. Hringekjan is not responsible for theft, lost or damaged products, and in the case of fire or water damage, you may be covered by your home insurance.

Hringekjan is not responsible for damage customers might cause to your products. That said, Hringekjan will do all within fair reach to have products paid for.

0 PRODUCT TERMS

Hringekjan reserves the right to refuse the installation of products that staff do not consider to meet the quality requirements of the service. Quality requirements apply to the condition of the product, whether the product is clean, whether a particular product is wareable, perforated, useless, or defective to some extent.

It is not permitted to sell licensed, illegal, fake, or harmful products in Hringekja. Tobacco, products containing nicotine, alcohol, food, weapons, fireworks, pornography or other products deemed inappropriate by Hringekjunn employees will be removed immediately.

Hringekjan's rental service is designed to support a solution for individuals to sell used clothing. Within the service, it is not permitted to sell products purchased for the purpose of reselling them. Customers are also completely prohibited from selling products from other types of commercial operations under their own name, but such transactions are subject to different rules than second-hand clothing from individuals. If the customer is found to have done so, his contract will be canceled and the rental space will be emptied without a refund of the rental price.

Location

We are located at Þórunnartún 2 (on the corner of Borgartún and Þórunnartún), right near the Hlemmur Bus stop.

There is plenty of paid parking on the street and in the parking garage under Höfðatorg, one block east on Borgartún.
